Rachael has taught all levels of secondary mathematics for the NSW Department of Education. She then changed career to spend eight years with the Royal Australian Navy in combat systems and electronic warfare analysis, re-entering teaching in WA in 2006 and taking on the role of Head of Mathematics. Rachael is a passionate mathematics teacher and a strong believer in the benefits of STEM education.

Rachael is based in Perth, WA, and also works as a Professional Officer for the Mathematical Association of Western Australia.
