Will Morony

Will Morony


Will Morony is currently Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers. He came to the role in 1997 after a career as a teacher of secondary mathematics and physics in South Australian schools, and ten years as a senior mathematics officer in the curriculum section of the South Australian education department. During this time he was involved in several national initiatives in mathematics, as well as a number of state-wide research and development projects. In his work with the AAMT, Will has taken a national leadership role in the Association’s work in a range of areas including curriculum development, policy development, professional learning, progressing the national numeracy agenda and teacher professional teaching standards.
