As part of the continuing You Can Do Maths campaign, the AAMT, with support from Kinetic Education, is conducting a competition for students in years 6-10. All they have to do is to write an outline for the script for the next television advertisement in the series... Details and entry forms are on the You Can Do Maths website.

[18/5/09] Nominations for AAMT Executive positions

Nominations for AAMT Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer (to hold office for two years from 1 February 2010) must reach AAMT Returning Officer Toby Spencer by 30 June 2009. Nominees must be individual members of AAMT, and should be nominated by a AAMT Council member and seconded by a member of the Association.

[6/3/09] National Project Manager: Indigenous Mathematics and Numeracy

AAMT is establishing a national project to assist efforts to improve the mathematics and numeracy achievement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander school students. The Project Manager will be a highly skilled educator able to lead this complex national project. Applications close 3 April 2009.
