AAMT email list community
Since 1997, AAMT has operated a list-serve (i.e., all participants receive all email messages sent to the list) to assist the wider mathematics education community.
Anyone can join the list (not just AAMT members).
The list enables members to share information and discuss issues -- ranging from teaching tips and resources through to lengthy, thoughtful discussions of important matters of pedagogy and educational politics.
List discussion is also archived (and can be searched by keywords) on the EdNA website -- but the archive is only accessible to aamt-l members. Watch the video below to learn how to access the archive.
You can join the list in several ways:
- Send an email with a blank subject line to lyris@edna.edu.au with the text "subscribe aamt-l" in the body of the message.
- Register with EdNA's website and then subscribe to the list through the site.
- Contact the AAMT Office and ask to have your email address added to the list.
For information about how to view previous discussions, or what to do if you are not receiving messages from the list, see the AAMT email list FAQ.
You can also read what some members have said about their participation.
If you have any questions or problems with the list, please contact the AAMT Office.
