PISA study results are a call to act now
The Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT) is calling on the Commonwealth and State and Territory Governments, as well as other stakeholders, to provide policy and program responses to improve the quality of teaching in Australian schools and arrest the current decline in student performance.

Next Australian Government must end maths crisis (July 2010)
The Australian Mathematical Society (AustMS) and the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT) want a commitment from the leaders of the major political parties that the next Australian Government will end the current crisis in mathematics education.
