A collection of thirty classroom activities which enable middle school students to use spreadsheets as a part of their learning of mathematics. Each activity is complete in itself and consists of a student page and a teacher page (all are photocopiable but please note that there is some ‘Englishness’ in money etc.). The collection is designed to: support inexperienced mathematics/IT teachers; be sufficiently open ended to allow students to ask ‘What if...?’ questions; help students develop skills in using spreadsheets for mathematics. Should be part of all schools’ resource collections.
