I don't want to provide my personal details online. Can I still make a purchase?

Yes. You can either phone the AAMT office, or download an order form and mail or fax it to us.

How can I tell if I have items in my shopping basket?

If you have selected any products then a small shopping trolley icon will appear below the AAMT banner on each page you view. You can see a list of your selected products by clicking on "view basket" next to this icon.

Do I have to pay by credit card?

At checkout, you will be asked to nominate payment by credit card or invoice. If you choose to be invoiced, you will need to include a valid school purchase order number in the space provided.

How can I be sure my order got through?

An email message confirming your order and delivery address is sent to your nominated email address at the conclusion of the checkout process. Within Australia, most orders should be received within 3-5 days. You can contact the AAMT office if you need to check on the progress of your order.

I am a member - why doesn't my shopping basket show members' prices?

The shopping basket will not be able to show your members' discount until after you have identified yourself by logging in.

Why doesn't the price in my shopping basket match the price quoted on individual product pages?

Prices quoted on product pages are GST-inclusive (i.e. correct for residents of Australia). The shopping basket will not calculate GST-inclusive prices until after you nominate your delivery location by logging in to the site.

Do I need to "log in" to the site?

You do not need to log in unless you wish to make an online purchase. Until you have logged in, the shopping basket page may not show the correct price for you (unidentified users will see the non-members' prices with no GST included). After you log in, shopping basket prices will include GST and member discounts (if applicable) and the shipping charge will be calculated on orders to be delivered within Australia. Any goods you order will be sent to the address you provide when you log in.

How do I "log in"?

You can log in at any stage by using the "login" link at the bottom of the left-hand menu. You will be prompted for your user name and password. If this is your first time logging in to the site then you will need to select "Sign Up" and provide some contact details and your choice of username and password. If you have previously used the site but have forgotten your password, use the left-hand menu to navigate to the "Home" page and select "forgot your password?" to have your details sent to your nominated email address.

Why is the shipping cost not quoted in my shopping basket?

If you have not logged in to the site, the shipping cost will be shown as "TBA". After login, the actual shipping cost will be calculated on orders for delivery within Australia. For international orders, the shipping cost will display as "$0.00" - please note that the actual cost will be determined based on the purchaser's delivery address and choice of delivery option (you can contact the AAMT office for a quotation).

Can I change the number of products displayed on the page?

Yes. When browsing folders in the shop, you can choose the number of items to display on each page by clicking on "10", "25", or "50". If you choose to display more items at once then each page will take longer to load.

I used the "click to change" button to change my delivery details and now I'm not in the shop any more. Was my transaction completed?

It may not have been. If your transaction was successfully completed then you will have been required to provide your credit card details or a school order number, you will no longer see the "shopping trolley" icon below the page header, and a confirmation message will be sent to your nominated email address. If you are not sure whether you completed the ordering process, please check by contacting the AAMT Office.
