Life Members of AAMT

Life members of The Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers are teachers of mathematics, mathematics educators or mathematicians who have rendered distinguished service to the Association over an extended period of time. They are elected by a unanimous vote of the AAMT Council.

Distinguished Service Awards

Distinguished Service Awards are made by a majority vote of the Council to individuals who have provided distinguished service to the Association.

Highly Accomplished Teachers of Mathematics

The AAMT awards the credential Highly Accomplished Teacher of Mathematics (HAToM) to those teachers who successfully undergo a formal process of assessment of their knowledge, capabilities and achievements against the AAMT Standards for Excellence in Teaching Mathematics in Australian Schools.
