Research into implementation of the Australian Curriculum: Mathematics
The team is particularly interested in how teachers use curriculum documents and assessment information in their planning, how they interpret statements in curriculum documents, and what teachers see as their professional learning needs associated with the Australian Curriculum. Teachers completed a survey that the team developed. There were separate surveys for primary and secondary teachers. The researchers have undertaken to prepare reports on the responses for AAMT journals, and will also send a synthesis of the responses to ACARA.
Sincere thanks to the many AAMT members and others who completed the surveys from the team -
Prof. David Clarke (University of Melbourne), Prof. Doug Clarke (Australian Catholic University) and Prof. Peter Sullivan (Monash University)
